Obituary for Jerome Ahti Maki
PrintMaki, Jerome Ahti, age 83, of White Bear Lake, MN passed away on December 31, 2021. Jerome was born in Duluth on October 18, 1938. Jerry served in the Navy from 1959 to 1963 and served aboard the USS Staten Island. He worked for Burlington Northern for 20 years and Metro Transit for 20 + years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ahti and Marjorie Maki; and great- grandson, Jeremiah Ahti. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra; sons, Jason, Joshua, and Nathan; brother, Richard (Alice); sisters, Marcy (Jim) and Andrea (John); and granddaughters, Brianna and Madaline. A memorial gathering will take place from 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Mueller Memorial in White Bear Lake, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave. Private interment at Fort Snelling at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.
