In 1973, we moved to Brainerd and joined Bethlehem where we quickly became acquainted with Art and Char. Art's sermons were so clear, I often took notes. He was a mentor to our family, and we appreciated his friendship. Char was my prayer partner for years, and we made lefse and krumkake together. When we moved to West Fargo in 1991, we hoped to get together often, but demanding work schedules limited the time that we could spend with them. By the time we retired, they had moved to Maplewood, and we visited them only once. God's peace to your family as you grieve your loss.
