Passed away suddenly on February 23, 2019. Preceded in death by parents Sig & Helen and son-in-law Craig Peterson. Survived by loving wife of more than 50 years, Dyanne (nee Schmidt); children Darlene Peterson and Frank Haug; grandchildren Amber, Zach & Sara Peterson; cousin & lifelong friend Gary Buck and many relatives & friends. 1955 Graduate of Harding High School. 1959 Graduate of IBM’s Air Defense Training. Upon graduation he was assigned to an air defense installation in Washington state, working on the IBM SAGE computer system which was manufactured for the US Air Force. In 1963 he continued his Computer career working full time for IBM, then EMR, and later Sperry Univac. In January 2000 he retired from Unisys. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (3/5) at 11:00 am at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133-15TH Street North, Oakdale. Interment Union Cemetery. Visitation Monday (3/4) from 4:00 -7:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway and one hour before the Mass at church on Tuesday. Memorials preferred.
