Dawn “Candy”
Passed away on July 13, 2020 at her home. She was born on November 23, 1946 in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Monroe High School in 1964. She worked in healthcare primarily at Woodbury Care Center and Good Shepherd Care Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard and her parents Arthur and Elaine Wolff. Candy is survived by her son Jim Schmitt (Kyong); grandsons Logan (Kelly) and Cody; great grandchildren Wyatt, Lanie & Rossi; her sister Karen Briseno and her family including Candy’s great niece Lakota. And we can’t forget Bosco. Candy loved her family above all else, and especially spending time with her grandsons and great grandchildren. Candy will be buried with her husband at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. If so desired, memorials can be sent to St. Paul Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
