Dylan Matthew Martinez
Age 22 of St. Paul
Passed Away unexpectedly

Preceded in death by his grandma Sheila McDonough; grandpa Tacho Martinez; great-grandparents Ralph and Martha McDonough, Uncle Joel (Jojo) Magnuson and grandma Nancy Magnuson. Dylan is survived by parents Mary Rose (Rosie) Martinez, Charles Bougie, and Jesse Magnuson; siblings Haley, Charles Jr., Ayana, Guliana, Tajauhn, Tayviauhn, and Deangelo; aunts and uncles Stacie and Mike, Nick and Grace, Diana, Tacho, Bill and Sarah, and Chris; Grandparents Barb Bougie and Linda Swanda; closest friends Kendell and Wes and closest cousins Devon, Sophia and Riley among many others.
Dylan was a happy, fun, kind, and sweet young man. Dylan has always been playful and has loved kids. All kids that were in Dylan’s life are truly hurting and will forever miss Dylan.
In his childhood, he loved swimming, Star Wars, Power Rangers, scary movies, wrestling – especially WWE, and superheroes. Dylan loved toy guns and light sabers.
As Dylan got older, he started to play football. He was an amazing football player and played on many teams that traveled throughout the country.
Dylan was one of the sweetest, kindest, big-hearted, caring people on earth even though he wanted you to think otherwise. If you knew Dylan, you knew he was a teddy bear. Dylan spent most of his life very close to his Grandma Sheila. They shared a very special love and are in heaven together now to continue that bond. Dylan loved his dogs. Geronimo was his dog. Dylan got Geronimo in 2010 and loved him so very much. He also loved Lance and Roscoe and just about any other dog, but especially Geronimo.
Dylan loved rap music, especially Kevin Gates. Dylan loved history and he was very curious and always looked for a deeper meaning in life.
Dylan will be greatly missed and was truly loved by each and every person that knew him. We will miss Dylan’s calls and conversations about new movies, video games, and music. We pray that Dylan is at peace and he will live in our hearts forever.
