Hedquist, Geraldine M. “Geri” (Rucci), age 90, of St. Paul, died peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2021. Geri was preceded in death by parents, Ned and Gerine Rucci; husbands, James Hedquist and Michael Curran; and adoring son, Steve Hedquist; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her cousin, Linda Trombley; and many other cousins and family. Geri took great pride in her work and home. She worked at American Hoist for many years before working and eventually retiring from EcoLab where she earned awards during her long and successful career. Her quaint home on the East Side was like a museum; each room adorned with collectibles and trinkets, as well as items that she crafted herself. She had a love for music, especially jazz, and was always dressed to the nines. A huge thank you to Mary and others for their help from St. Croix Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation from 10 AM to the time of service. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
