Obituary for Hildegard Viola Davis (Petz)

Hildegard Davis (nee Petz), 98, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd; parents, Jacob and Josephine Petz; and daughter-in-law, Mary Davis; she was also the last of 11 siblings, Joseph Petz, Jacob T. Petz, Lenora Rensch, Katherine Anderson, Elizabeth Larson, Henry Petz, Leo Petz, Susan Whitethorn, Lawrence Petz, and Jerome Petz. Survived by step children, Robert Davis, Mary Carol (Jack) Theils, Cathryn (Robert) Burrell, and James Davis (Maria); grandchildren, Sheila Theils, Christopher (Alice), Michael, and John Burrell; great grandsons, Shane Burrell and William Burrell; and many other extended family and friends.
Hildegard was an active member at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic church and volunteered in many different capacities. She and Lloyd enjoyed traveling throughout Canada and the United States, visiting almost all 50 states. They also spent many nights dancing and going to plays. She will be greatly missed.
A special thank you to the Pillars Hospice Team. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church or charity of donor’s choice. Private family mass and interment.
