Obituary for Ione Ann Belisle (LaMirande)

At the age of 98, Ione passed away peacefully on February 26th at New Harmony
Care Center.
Ione was employed at 3M company and retired after 25 years. During her retirement,
she enjoyed garage saling, traveling (Vegas was a favorite), bowling, golf, cribbage,
playing cards, reading, journaling, volunteering, Dean Martin, and spending time with
her family.
Ione was a sweet, loyal and independent woman who taught us all to put family first
and to always 'make the best of things.' We will miss her every day.
Beloved 'Gram' to Rick (Teresa) Kloetzke, Jodi Kloetzke, Joelle (Rich) Afflitto, Jill
Borden and 'Grandma Oney' to 5 Great Grandchildren. Cherished Sister to Sally
LaMirande, Elaine LaMirande Anderson, Roger (Trudy) LaMirande, sister-in-law Angie
LaMirande and many other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Clarence Belisle, beloved daughters Carolyn Belisle and
Brenda Belisle Borden, brother Joe LaMirande, sister Gloria LaMirande Ostendorf,
and brothers-in-law Curt Anderson and Will Ostendorf, and loving companion of 35
years Larry Erickson.
A special thank you to Touching Hearts at Home (Sara and Keriann), New Harmony
Care Center and HealthEast Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 655 Forest St., St. Paul, with visitation being held on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul and also an hour prior at the church. Private family interment to be held at a later date.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
