Obituary for John Francis Cotroneo
Cotroneo, John F.
1943-2018
John passed away peacefully on August 19th 2018 at the age of 75. He was the owner of the Minnehaha Tavern and then worked for the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners and the Ramsey County Sherriff’s Office. Preceded in death by his parents Dominic and Josephine (Nemo) Cotroneo, sister Patricia, and brother Tony. Survived by wife Jan, daughter Gina (Jerry) Dabe, son Jeff, grandchildren John Hurd, Arianna, Bella, and Sonny, siblings Ben (Kathy), JoAnn, Jeanne (Phil) Wald, Mary Jo (Butch) Bourgoin, and Uncle Lou Cotroneo. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. There will be a visitation at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, on Wednesday, September 5th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday, September 6th, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St N, Oakdale, followed by burial at Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Autism Society of Minnesota or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
