Karen Marie Fahey

(nee Olsen) of White Bear Township

November 25, 1942 ~ January 5, 2022

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend. Passed away unexpectedly after a short battle with COVID. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Ethel & Alvin Olsen and she had four sisters Marjorie Raschke, Nancy Farvour (Jack), Peggy Jarosch & Marietta Olsen. Survived by love of her life, partner in crime and shenanigans Husband of 58 years, Patrick; son Sean (Darla); daughter Shannon DeVinny; grandchildren Nicholas DeVinny, Lauren (Austin) Lyons, Samantha McGahan & Jessica (Tracy) Bowersox; great grandchildren Carson & Weston Lyons. Karen had many bonus children and grandchildren along the way. To know her was to be loved by her, she never turned anyone away, never judged and always had an open door. She mended many hearts, fed many mouths, nurtured many lost souls and bandaged many deep wounds with love and laughter. Pat and Karen lived in Hugo over 35 years together, both Harding High School graduates, she worked for Ramsey County Human Services Welfare Department for 35 years. She had a kind heart, amazing laugh and a hysterical sense of humor that will not be forgotten. Gathering Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12 Noon to 3:00 pm with a time of sharing at 2:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake.
