Kim Jolyce Roy (Nee Wojdyla)
Kim Roy, 58, of Little Canada, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in her home on September 23, 2021.
Visitation will be held at the Mueller Funeral Home, White Bear Lake, Mn on Tuesday, September 28,
2021 at 4:00-7:00 PM
Kim was born in Oceanside, California to Joseph and Barbara Wojdyla, and grew up in Glendale Heights,
Illinois, after the family moved there in the mid 1960’s. After graduating high school Kim served
honorably in the U.S. Army for 4 years. Kim moved to Minnesota when career opportunities arose and
accepted a position at DecoPac, Inc. She was a very motivated and driven leader, priding herself with
team building, leading by positive example, and creating a phenomenal work environment for the
company. Due to her skill and her strong work ethics Kim became the Vice President of Operations for
DecoPac. She greatly enjoyed her 25 year career with the company.
When not working her focus revolved around her family and friends. Her children, Haley and Kyle, were
the center of her world. They enjoyed vacationing together, traveling to many destinations, and were
extremely involved in ice hockey, where the children played for many years.
Kim also enjoyed spending time her dear friends and neighbors, riding her Harley motorcycle, listening
to country music and hanging out with her girlfriends.
Kim especially enjoyed the time she spent with her boyfriend, Jeff Karch. Being great outdoor
enthusiasts Kim and Jeff spent many days at his property in Osceola, Wisconsin. Riding ATVs, target
shooting, ice fishing and deer watching were just some of the activities they enjoyed doing together. Jeff
and Kim’s dear friend Kris Hasse-Linquist were at Kim’s side at her passing.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Wojdyla, and brother-in-law Mike Trimarco. She is
survived by her children Haley and Kyle Roy, her mother, Barbara (John) Garton, her siblings Kathy (Jeff)
Landrum, Beth Trimarco, Adam (Georgia) Wojdyla, and Jill (Jim) Beckos; significant other Jeff Karch and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members and countless friends.
