Patricia Switzer, age 79, White Bear Lake, Minnesota passed away on Monday January 21, 2019, at her daughter Beth’s home in Dakota, Minnesota after losing her struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Pat was born 9 October 1939 in Grafton, North Dakota. Daughter to Edward Misialek and Margaret (Gen) O’Sullivan. She grew up and attended school in Crystal, Niche and Grafton, North Dakota.
Pat was united in marriage to Clinton Switzer on 30 July 1955 in Grafton, ND and were together for forty-five blissful years. They lived in Fargo, ND and Rockford, IL before moving to White Bear Lake in 1959. Wintered in Arizona 1996 to1998.
Pat worked for many years as a waitress at the Venetian Inn, took business classes in the late 1970’s, then worked for Harvest States until her retirement in 1994.
Pat is survived by four children, Debra and Steven Dirks, Mark and Theresa Switzer, Elizabeth and Jeff Erickson, Douglas and Nami Switzer; thirteen grandchildren, David Hagel, Daniel Erickson, Michael Vail, Katy (Erickson) Burke, Jeremy Switzer, Mina Switzer-Yang, Nicki (Davis) Wollak, Craig Switzer, Clinton Switzer, Brianna (Davis) Marcott, Jaqi (Erickson) Montesano, Jeffrey Switzer, Rebecca Erickson; seventeen great-grandchildren, Jessica Burke, Kevin Burke, Elizabeth Brown, Carson Switzer, Shaina Yang, Micah Vail, Mason Vail, Tia Switzer, Cody Burke, Natalie Erickson, Abigail Erickson, Giovanna Montesano, Ethan Yang, Vienna Yang, Joscelyn Erickson, Frederick Marcott, Orazio Montesano; and two sisters, Margaret Langowski and Kay Syvertson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Misialek and Margaret (Gen) O’Sullivan; husband Clinton Switzer; son Thomas; sister MaryEllen; and brother James.
