I want to say to my Aunt Joan and cousins that I am so sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you all . Uncle Roger and Aunt Joan are the kindest people. I have great memories of holidays and summer get togethers with the family...Roger would help anyone he could. I remember him bringing a load of wood out to our house one winter when my dads friend had built us a wood stove to heat our home, expecting nothing in return..., and when my dad passed away the family was there for us ...when my mom passed away and I called to tell him he came to the funeral home to help my sister and I make plans...never even had to ask him he just showed out to support because that was the kind of man he was....i had the privilege of having him walk me down the isle when I was married. I could keep going on forever. There is nothing but good things to say about my Uncle. His passing is a huge loss. This is one of my favorite pictures- it is of my dad(Bob) , Uncle Roger my Aunt Cathy and Grandma Burdick. I bet that was one heck of a heavenly reunion. Rest in Peace Uncle - and sending love from Brian and me to my Aunt and cousins. You have been in our thoughts and prayers.

Dad,
I have known you for 50 years since the day you stopped me and asked if I babysit. At that time I did not know the relationship this was going to create. You stepped in and became the role of Dad for me. You had such a positive impact on my life. There are so many fond memories I treasure and I am "Forever Proud" to have called you Dad and for you to be in my life for 50 years. Rest in peace Dad.
