WWII Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by parents Elmer & Myrtle; brother Warren; sister Marion Dolan and grandson Christopher John Woolley. Survived by wife Gertrude; daughters Kathy (Roman) Meyer & Debbie Killeen; son James (Deanna); two grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren;10 step-great grandchildren. and brother Dan (Carol). Retired from 3M after 43 years. Built and moved into their retirement lake-house on Rush Lake in Clear Lake, MN in 1985 until November 2013 when they moved back to St. Paul to The Shores of Lake Phalen. Memorial Mass Friday, November 2, at 10:30 am at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Judes. Special thanks to the special angels from Visiting Angels and the loving, caring staff at The Shores of Lake Phalen.
