Condolence From: Marsha,Kenny and Jeff Strobel
Condolence: I have struggled all day with the news of Edies passing..so wrong.. Well I'd like to share a little ditty from many years ago. The Henk family lived down the street from us, their son Dan (Captian Dan) ;)..was Jeffs first and best friend. Jeff spent alot of his childhood at Henks house. I always knew he was in a safe place(except when Dan sprayed misquito spray in his eyes) lol...but the thing I have NEVER forgotten was Edie making Ravoli for the kids for lunch one day, Jeff of course was one of her kids too...so Jeff comes home telling me how good the Ravioli was that Edie made, so I buy a can of it happy to have something he actually LIKED.. Feeling pretty special I made it for lunch one day...he wouldn't eat it...it didn't TASTE like EDIE'S!!! It was a CAN fgs...so the moral of the story was...if Edie made it it was good...me...not so much!! On a less envious note, Edie was good people and will never be forgotten, especially by all of us on MeadRd. Put that beautiful smile and perfectly plucked eyebrows ( still a bit envious huh)to good use in Heaven and will see you then...I hope πŸ˜‰πŸ’•

Condolence: To Scott and family I want to offer you my deepest sympathy. I am so saddened to hear of Edie's passing. I haven’t seen Edie since I moved to Florida 13 years ago, but the picture you have here is just as I remember her- so youthful and full of vim and vigor. I respected her for speaking her mind as we worked together and I loved her quick laugh and beautiful smile! Please know that y’all are in my thoughts.

Condolence: When they said Only the Good Die Young it is so true of Edie. My sister, my friend, it is so hard for me to think I will never get to see or talk with you again on this Earth. You were so young and full of life you always had a positive upbeat attitude about everything. You reminded me of Grandpa Vennemann. Scott and the kids always came first even before yourself. You went to see Jesus almost to the day and age that mom passed away. I'm so happy that you are with Mom and dad again and take comfort in knowing you are also with our Lord.
I love and miss you so much. I remember when me you and Susie went to Fort Worth Texas to visit Bill. We had such a good time visiting, going to museums and seeing places. But mostly I remember you asking if we could take a detour on our way home and go to the ocean because you've never seen it. So we drove from Fort Worth to Galveston and had so much fun laoughing, singing, and telling stories. It was quite the adventure. I will cherish all the little adventures we had. I love you and I will never forget you. I pray God's peace and love on Scott, and your familyin Jesus name, we truly lost an awesome wife, mom and meema, sister and friend.
Scott and family I love you and if you ever need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

Condolence: When I was a little girl she used to watch me and she was determined to teach me how to play softball. She would show me how to hold the bat, swing the bat. We'd practice all the time. She would take me to the ball fields at scheffer rec. center and we would play the day away. I wish I would have picked it up as a sport. But I'll never forget who tought me how to play. I will miss your beautiful smile and your nurturing soul. When we talked she really listened and gave great advice about being a mom and listening to my kids! I love you Aunt Edie! I love you Uncle Scott, Kristi, Dan, Sarah, and Nikki!!! πŸ’•
