Went home January 2, 2019
Survived by husband of 56 years, John, and children, Jim (Maureen), Ellen (Reinhard), Joe (Laura), Weezy (Kevin) and 12 grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Jan, Liz and Kathy, brother Joe and 12 nieces and nephews. She graduated as an English major from Rosary College, taught briefly at Saint Pascal’s School, co-founded Life Care Center East Pregnancy Counselling Center, was a member of the Saint Paul Public Library Advocacy Committee for many years, and gave thousands of hours to Saint Pascal’s church and school and Hill-Murray High School. A talented athlete, musician and seamstress, she loved the outdoors. As a wonderful cook, baker and canner, she served hundreds of dinner guests from many states and foreign lands. Truly a selfless, giving and gentle woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 8th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Pascal’s Church, 1757 Conway St., St. Paul. Visitation 5:00-8:30 p.m. on Monday, January 7th at Saint Pascal’s Church and one hour before Mass. Interment at Fort Snelling at a later date.
